尼克斯vs湖人录像 www.uniuiz.net South Korean telecom operator LG U+ has demonstrated an early lead among its rivals in the country's 5G race, according to a recent report by RootMetrics by IHS Markit, a leading business intelligence firm.
The LG U+ network, backed by Chinese telecom giant Huawei in its 5G deployments, stood out with the best and most consistent speed performance among all South Korean operators - KT, LG U+ and SK Telecom - between June 28 and July 6.
The tests were conducted both indoors and outdoors in densely-populated areas, during in suburban areas around Seoul during peak usage hours.
According to the tests, LG U + delivered the fastest peak 5G download speed, clocking in at 902.7 Mbps and the highest 5G median download speed at 426.4 Mbps. This means users can download an entire television show in around 12 seconds on average.
The operator's 5G median download latency of 72ms was also the lowest among all networks and twice as low as that of its non-5G mode.
RootMetrics says that "LG U+'s blazing-fast 5G speeds combined with its strong reliability and low latency gives the operator an edge over the competition in the early phases of 5G deployments."
LG U+ launched its 5G service in early April, and has by far 540,000 5G customers.
In cooperation with Huawei, it has delivered more than 25,000 5G base stations across the country. The two have been working together to develop ultra-HD video and VR services based on 5G networks and enable new 5G commercial applications, according to earlier reports.
